I'd like to answer some other potential questions before they get asked:
What is the purpose of this FPV registry?
I like to think of it as a giant virtual car show. Since 2001 I've been listing SVT vehicles on this web site and many visitors enjoy checking them out.
Similarly those owners that are also car enthusiasts love to display their cars on the Internet just as they would at a local car show, so thats the concept.
Do you offer forums or club membership for FPV owners?
No, sorry. But I would like to recommend other web sites that specialize in just such a thing. I myself am a frequent visitor to:
www.fordforums.com.au and feel they've done a fine job bringing together many Australian Ford owners
and provided a platform for many local clubs to establish communication channels for their members.
How is FPV Registry different from the forums? or other automotive photo web sites?
I like to view my web site as a compliment to any forum out there, be it SVTperformance.com where I started the idea for this site or FordForums.com.au
where most of the FPV owners roam around. The difference of course is my site is a very static web site dedicated to displaying real pictures submitted by
the car's owners and listed in an organized manner. When it comes to other photo web sites like CarDomain.com, my site is strictly for Ford Performance
Vehicle owners and if thats what you're interested in than you've come to the right place. My site is also fully manual, so you could be rest assured to
find only the pictures of the actual FPV vehicles and not pictures of people's pets or girlfriends like you'd commonly find in other photo sites. It is unique!
